Matting and Compositing

For this assignment I wanted to have good textures worked in.  However it seemed like the easier way to carry out this particular project ended up being done with photoshop masks.  I did experiment with layer blending in after effects, but the final product does not have these.  The matte tool worked well for this comp as the oddly shaped puddles would have driven me mad if I tried to mask it.  The comp is a little dull but it was very much an experiment.
