I've started animating the the bison painting doing a trot cycle across the wall and into a still herd of other animals. I'm enjoying the look, but it still needs a greater sense of depth. For now I'll keep animating the movements and experiment with ways it can be composited. It's nice that I can work on them independently. I'll have have to make sure the flashlight has some personality to it.
